Disneyland Field Tested Gear
Last time I wore jeans to Disneyland I basically slow-cooked myself from the waist down and ended up with a situation I won't describe here but let's just say there was chaffing and things needed ointment. So this time I came prepared. Sixteen hours. High of 84 degrees. One very aggressive water ride. Here's what actually held up:
Stio CFS Board Pant
The weather was hot, we walked for 16 hours, Tiana's Bayou Adventure got us real good but zero swamp crotch. I will never go back to jeans.
Stay DryStio Ridgecap Hiking Shoe
25,000 steps. ~13 miles. Not a single blister. Disneyland is basically an alpine hike but with more churros and longer lines and these held up.
Let’s GoStio Pinion Jacket
Was I the only person in Disneyland wearing a puffer? Yup. When it was only 65 degrees? Also yup. DON’T COLD SHAME ME! I was having a very “tell me you're from Oregon without telling me you're from Oregon” moment, let me live.

The jacket weighs nothing. Packs down to the size of a forgotten granola bar, and kept me completely dry while on the water ride, while everyone around me was wearing a trash bag (!!). I pulled this tiny wonder out of my hip pack and felt v prepared.
Light as a feather
